Assistant Office Manager-Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic.

Our providers include Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and Nurse Practitioners. To support a truly holistic approach to mental wellness, we also offer a dedicated Medication Management Department, ensuring our clients receive well-rounded, personalized treatment.

Job Summary:
This is a full-time salaried position within RC, responsible for providing professional assistance to the Office Manager, administrative and clinical team members. Work hours are on-site from 10:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate/oversee the operations of the billing areas of the practice.
• Oversee all external contracts, includes billing, collection follow-up, and record keeping for those services.
• Work closely with the offsite billing team and vendor.
• Ability to perform daily accounting duties.
• Oversee or coordinate the training of new administrative support team members.
• Complete weekly/monthly reports for the Leadership Team.
• Conduct daily team huddle in Managers absence.
• Assist the Office Manager with supervising day to day operation of office staff. This includes areas of front desk/reception, scheduling, intake, billing and medication management. 
• Be flexible and capable of filling in at front desk, scheduling or intake when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and accounts receivable processes required.
• Previous medical billing experience required.
• Previous experience working with medical insurance companies and/or knowledge required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Multi-year experience working in and with Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Health Records required.
• Knowledge of confidentiality and HIPAA regulations required.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous collections experience preferred.
• Previous administrative experience working in a medical office or clinic preferred.

Required Educational Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or higher education required.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time, on-site, 10:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday.
• $45,000.00 per year. Salary based on experience and qualifications.
