Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be essential in promoting sales and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Duties

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with inquiries, providing product information and recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services, contributing to overall sales goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that it is stocked with necessary supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed to ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support store operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail math to accurately handle transactions and manage cash flow.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
