JOB DESCRIPTION / Responsibilities Dedicated Line Haul / Regional Class A Professional Driver Line originates from Altoona , Pa. to Dulles, VA.
• Morning departure from Duncansville, Pa, 3 days a week @ 0600/hr on Monday / Wednesday / Friday or Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday. The scheduled arrival time @ Dulles Airport 0930/hr. The trailer will be unloaded. There will be several scheduled pickups. Depart Dulles and return to the Duncansville terminal approximate arrival time 1730/hr same day.
• Opportunities to work locally during the off days @ $24.00 an hour, if interested.
• Primarily No Touch freight, driver will observe the loading and unloading of the trailer
• Equipment: Day cabs, Drivers are assigned a truck, Automatic, Freightliner & International. Penske leased/maintained fleet.
• Fuel card, EZ-pass and Samsara cab camera and electronic logging device system
• Safely operate a 53-foot dry van tractor-trailer truck
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip
• Home everyday
COMPENSATION/PAY Departure from Duncansville to Dulles and return to Duncansville round trip 310 miles. Lane rate compensation: $320.00 includes up to 3 pick up stops in Dulles Any additional stops paid @ $25.00 per stop.
• 3 round trips weekly Monday, Wednesday & Friday OR Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday
• Drivers average annual earnings of $ 50,000.00 for the scheduled lane run. Additional earning potential for working locally during the off days @ $24.00 an hour.
QUALIFICATIONS • 22 years of age
• 2 years of commercial driving experience
• Maintain a Commercial driver’s license & Medical Card
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Must have Haz-Mat endorsement
• Strong work ethic Driver
