Job Responsibilities:

• Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services, such as nail clipping, brushing, bathing, and conditioning
• Be able to answer the phone and book appointments for grooming services
• Ensure the wellness and safety of furry patrons at all times
• Perform routine cleaning to keep the salon fun and inviting
• Available some nights and weekends

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary
• Be able to work a flexible schedule with some evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to follow safety procedures and company handbook
• Be able to move, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time
• Be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Dog handling experience a plus

LH Mercantile, LLC is a franchisee of Pet Supplies Plus that currently has 15 locations throughout the Chicago suburbs and Northwest Indiana. We provide curbside pickup, delivery/autoship services as well as self-service dog washes and full-service grooming salons. We offer an array of pet foods, supplies and accessories for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and small animals.
