Job Description

Salary: $63,440 - 91,873 per year Requirements:

• I have an Associate's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution; OR I possess three years of relevant work experience.
• I maintain a Level I fingerprint clearance card that is current, valid, and in good standing, or I have applied for it within seven working days of starting employment.
• I am capable of obtaining and maintaining an information security certification within one year of hire.
• I have reliable transportation for operational reassignments during the workday, and if I drive during work hours, I possess a valid driver’s license and comply with Arizona vehicle insurance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• I conduct log file analysis and review other information to uncover evidence of past intrusions.
• I perform analyses of log files from different sources to identify potential threats to network security.
• I notify designated managers, cyber incident responders, and members of the cybersecurity service provider team regarding suspected cyber incidents, detailing the event's history, current status, and potential impact for further actions in accordance with our cyber incident response plan.
• With supervision, I conduct cyber defense incident triage, assessing scope, urgency, and potential impact, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing recommendations for prompt remediation.
• I monitor system operations and respond to events triggered by observations of trends or unusual activities.
• Under guidance from senior technical staff or leaders, I carry out vulnerability scans and identify security system vulnerabilities.
• I demonstrate basic skills in reading, interpreting, writing, modifying, and executing simple scripts on systems.
• I effectively communicate technical information to less technical or non-technical audiences.
• I receive and analyze network alerts from various enterprise sources to determine probable causes.
• I isolate and remove malware as needed.
• I maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic workspace in accordance with all Policies and Procedures, including but not limited to work areas, workstations, examination rooms, hand washing, and infection prevention and control protocols.
• I exhibit understanding and proficiency in the application of compliance and reporting requirements relevant to Joint Commission Certification (JCC) standards.
