Job Description

Summary: : As a Pediatric Dentist, you will play a crucial role in the oral health and well-being of children, ensuring they receive the highest standard of dental care. Your primary objective will be to diagnose and treat dental issues in young patients, while also educating them and their families about proper dental hygiene practices. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for children, helping to alleviate any fears they may have about dental visits. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each child, promoting long-term oral health. Ultimately, your work will contribute to building a foundation for healthy smiles that last a lifetime.

Duties and Responsibilities (Responsibilities to include but not limited to the following)

  • Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for pediatric patients.
  • Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform preventive and restorative dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, and extractions.
  • Educate children and their parents on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for pediatric patients.

Education/Experience:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program.
  • Current state dental license and board certification in pediatric dentistry.
  • Experience working with children in a dental setting.
  • Familiarity with the latest pediatric dental technologies and techniques.
