Osmo is headquartered in New York, NY, with a new facility in New Jersey, and offices in Somerville, MA.
Osmo is seeking a motivated Prompt Engineer to collaborate directly with our CTO and Head of Applied Research to create innovative solutions empowering our Marketing and Sales teams. Osmo is building the operating system to digitize smell, significantly expanding the dimension of human sensory experiences in the digital world. This position is a 3-month contract hybrid or remote role, with the potential to convert to full-time employment based on your performance and team needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, experiment with, and refine prompts to generate personalized marketing content and targeted cold outreach emails using large language models (LLMs).
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to deeply understand their requirements and translate them into effective, prompt-driven strategies.
Build and iterate on internal tools that streamline the generation, evaluation, and tuning of prompts, enhancing overall team productivity.
Continuously assess and optimize prompt performance, leveraging user feedback and data-driven insights for iterative improvement.
Maintain clear and detailed documentation of prompts, methodologies, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing across teams.
Stay current with emerging trends, models, and frameworks in AI, particularly those relevant to marketing automation, personalized content generation, and advancements in LLMs.
Required Qualifications
Active and advanced user of ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools with demonstrated experience in utilizing custom prompts to achieve targeted outcomes.
Hands-on experience in sales, marketing, engineering, design, or related fields, showcasing your ability to contribute effectively from concept through successful execution.
Strong creative and analytical skills, proven through iterative improvement of prompts based on evaluation and data-driven feedback.
Ability to effectively translate marketing and sales requirements into compelling, personalized content using highly optimized prompts.
Passion and enthusiasm for staying at the forefront of AI developments, especially in applications to real-world business scenarios.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
Previous experience specifically utilizing LLMs for marketing automation, personalized content generation, or scaled cold outreach.
Familiarity with marketing and sales automation tools such as HubSpot and Clay.
Proven success in building intuitive and efficient internal workflows or tools that significantly boost team productivity.
Demonstrated experience working closely with sales and marketing teams, showing a clear understanding of sales funnels, customer psychology, and effective messaging strategies.
