Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Senior Appraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in real estate appraisal, particularly in the context of Agriculture properties. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, data collection methodologies, and fair housing regulations. The Senior Appraiser will be responsible for conducting thorough appraisals, analyzing market trends, and providing accurate valuations to support various financial decisions.

Location: Turlock and Modesto, CA

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive real estate appraisals for agriculture and commercial properties.
• Collect and analyze data relevant to property valuation, including market trends, comparable sales, and property characteristics.
• Utilize financial software and GIS tools to enhance appraisal accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare detailed appraisal reports that comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations throughout the appraisal process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide insights on financial concepts related to property valuation.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting property appraisal.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS degree with emphasis on agriculture.
• Entry level (must be seeking license) to 10 years' (Senior) experience with CA Certified General License. A licensed applicant from another state would be considered.
• Must have good analytical and statistical skills to evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data for valuation related activities.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good computer skills and be proficient in Windows, Excel, and Word.
• Must have a good understanding of the agricultural operations of the Central Valley.
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize work assignments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,500.00 - $144,200.00 per year
