We are seeking a hands-on Senior Product Manager - Technical) to join our Gen AI team. You will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of AI-powered gaming features that push the boundaries of interactive entertainment. This includes building platform capabilities, ensuring trust and safety, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI-driven features for both internal tools and player-facing applications.
In this role, you will also have a key focus on internal use cases that enhance productivity across teams, leveraging AI to improve workflows, automate tasks, and create efficiencies for Amazon employees. Your work will not only impact players but also the broader organization by ensuring that internal stakeholders have the tools and knowledge to leverage Gen AI effectively.
As a key member of the team, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle for AI products, from ideation to launch, ensuring that our Gen AI strategy aligns with customer needs, business goals, and technical capabilities. Your role will include defining product roadmaps, creating playbooks, and setting clear guidelines for responsible AI usage. Key job responsibilities
* Strategy & Roadmap: Define the platform roadmap for internal and external AI tool capabiltieis based on priority use cases
* AI Product Oversight: Oversee the development and refinement of internal Gen AI tools (e.g., business intelligence insights tools), ensuring their effective use across teams
* Buy vs. Build Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments to determine when to build AI capabilities in-house versus sourcing external solutions, with a focus on long-term scalability and cost-effectiveness.
* AI Trust and Safety: Establish guardrails and legal checkpoints to ensure responsible AI deployment, including model checks, real-time identification of issues, and post-launch incident resolution
* Value Measurement: Define frameworks for how to quantify value and measure ROI of Gen AI initiatives
* Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead coordination efforts across platform, science, studio, safety, legal, and other teams
* Player-Facing Features: Define AI-driven player-facing features and in-game use cases that enhance player engagement and improve gameplay experiences.
* Internal Use Cases: Drive AI-powered productivity and elevate organizational understanding of Gen AI by developing internal tools and mechanisms to automate workflows and share best practices
* Data Storage and Feedback Loops: Define data storage requirements and create continuous feedback and tuning loops to ensure ongoing product improvement and AI model optimization.
* Pan-Amazon Collaboration: Liaise with teams across Amazon to identify synergies and best practices
* Playbook Creation: Develop and implement playbooks for product launches, including best practices for scaling, deployment, and post-launch iterations.
* Market research: Continuously monitor and evaluate the latest advancements in AI technologies, staying up-to-date with trends, new tools, and emerging research to inform product development.

This team works at the intersection of cloud gaming, AI, and interactive entertainment, building experiences that will change how games are played, developed, and enjoyed by millions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Proven experience shipping Gen AI-powered features at scale from pilot to production and a deep understanding of AI trust and safety considerations
- Experience in analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data.
- Experience working in 0-to-1 product environments, ideally in gaming or tech companies with a focus on AI
- Passion for staying current with the latest developments in AI technologies, and applying those insights to real-world product challenges
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
